Inshore Fisheries and Conservation Authorities (IFCAs) are Committees or Joint Committees of local authorities that fall within the IFCA District.
They are constituted under the Marine and Coastal Access Act 2009 and are tasked with the sustainable management of inshore sea fisheries resources in their local area and specifically out to six nautical miles.
