LGA Coastal SIG study tour and AGM 2017: limited places remain

27 – 29 June 2017, Maldon, Essex
Limited places remaining – book now to avoid disappointment!

Maldon District Council will be hosting the coastal study tour this year. With a diverse range of coastal issues Maldon will share their experiences and learning that can be taken back to your own authority.

The District has one of the longest Coastlines at 75 miles and includes the Blackwater estuary with internationally important saltmarsh and mudflats. The Council is unusual as it owns and manages a large part of the estuary. Delegates will see how coastal defences are managed by coastal landowners and the Environment Agency, how the Council is developing the areas tourism offer and how it manages the Blackwater. We hope that you will attend this event organised by a SIG Member.

Staying at Vaulty Manor, B&B for two nights: Double room single occupancy £145, Double room with two occupants £165. If you can only attend part of the event please let us know. The itinerary has been circulated by email.
